ROCKIT – DJ / Performer / Party Starter

Inspired by the iconic Hip Hop films Wildstyle and Beat Street, Swiss-born ROCKIT first made a name as a breakdancer and founder of the internationally renowned Zee City All Stars. His tag, ROCKIT, was a nod both to his explosive style and to Herbie Hancock’s groundbreaking 1983 hit.

By the 90s, drawn deeper into the culture, ROCKIT traded his kicks for turntables. Influenced by legends like Q-Bert, Jazzy Jeff, Craze, A-Trak and Cut Killer, he quickly developed his own signature sound. In 1999, ROCKIT stood out as a clear favorite at the Swiss DMC Championship, further fueling his rise as a DJ.

Today, ROCKIT is known for high-energy, genre-blending sets that move effortlessly from Hip Hop and R&B to House, Trap, Dancehall and beyond. His explosive style has lit up premier clubs and festivals, and he’s shared the stage or played after-parties for global heavyweights including Kanye West, Tyga, Busta Rhymes, DMX, Xzibit, The Game, Nelly, DJ Snake, EVE, Sido, Kay One, Mario Winans and many more.
