Inspired by iconic Hip Hop movies “Wildstyle” and “Beatstreet”, Swiss born ROCKIT started as a break dancer and founder of the internationally famed Zee City All Stars. His tag name ROCKIT was given to him because of his explosive style and a tribute to Herbie Hancock’s 1983 hit, “ROCKIT”.  Fast forward to the 90’s where heavyweight hip hop DJs like Q-Bert, Jazzy Jeff, Craze, A-Trak, Mouss, Cut Killer and others dominated the clubs and radiowaves with their skills and mixtapes. After already being seduced by the Hip Hop culture, ROCKIT exchanged his kicks for “two turntables”.

In 1999, ROCKIT placed 3rd in the Swiss DMC Championship and his career as a DJ started taking off. In honoring his tag name, his style juggles the hottest R&B, Party Tracks and the lastest House Club Bangers to rock the dance floor and take off. 

Now ROCKIT packs premiere clubs, rocks events and does after parties for big name artists like Kanye West, Tyga, Busta Rhymes, DMX, Xzibit, the Game, Nelly, Mims, DJ Snake, EVE, Nina Sky, Faydee, Sido, Kay One and Mario Winans among others.

 

ROCKIT also belongs to Switzerland’s Most Wanted DJs.  ROCKIT is ready to bring stadiums of people to the hottest venues with his addictive mixes and original body rocking tracks to become the next hottest international DJ powerhouse worldwide.
